The Academic Coaching staff offers free workshops during the fall and spring semesters. Below is a schedule of the previous semester's workshops. Fall 2017 workshop information will be coming soon.

Academic Coaching Workshop: Starting Your Semester Off Right!

  Topic 1: Time Management

Students will determine time management systems that are effective and useful for having an organized semester.

Topic 2: Study Skills

Thursday, September 7 | 5:30PM - 6:30PM

Students will become aware of ways to improve their study skills and exam preparation strategies.

Academic Coaching Workshop: Midterm Topics

Topic 1: Procrastination, Motivation and Goal Setting

Monday, October 2 | 5:00PM - 6:00PM  or  Thursday, October 19 | 5:30PM - 6:30PM

Students will determine reasons for procrastination and develop strategies to overcome their procastination. We will also assist students with developing goals and finding motivation during their academic journey.

Topic 2: Study Skills

Students will become aware of ways to improve their study skills and exam preparation strategies.

Academic Coaching Workshop: Preparing for Finals

Tuesday, November 28 | 6:00 PM - 7:00PM  or  Wednesday, November 29 | 5:30 PM - 6:30PM

This interactive workshop will give space for students to analyze their previous work and establish a game-plan for how to tackle their finals. Topics will include learning about prioritizing and managing your time, strategies for different test formats, and learning how to help
